OK. So, I officially started my photography business at the end of 2007. Although I have loved photographing everything in sight for a very long time... it became apparent to me that this was more than just a hobby when my last baby (my 3rd and hopefully last) was born 5/07.
Taking pictures of my 3 children at JC Penny was simply not
- convenient
- enjoyable
- worth my money
- simply not right
I figure I am not the only mom out there that must feel this same way. When I look back thru my albums and at my walls I see that the memories that REALLY make me smile are those that were captured in a candid manner when my children were relaxed in their own surroundings by the people that love them the most… us, of course.
I decided I wanted to do the same for other families. I want to bring a smile to mommies and daddies when they see their little ones in their arms in the photograph I was able to capture for them. Seriously, this is my aim. To have all the love you hold so close to you now remembered for the rest of your life captured in print. Sure, the money will eventually get better as my photography becomes better known, but even if that is never the case- I LOVE what I do now and I hope that I will always be in a place in my life where I can continue to enjoy this new “business” of building up loving memories for others….
This is the first time I have attempted to keep a blog so mainly I will focus on new sessions but also a little about my “regular/normal days” (regular/normal is not something I see often with 3 kids, lol).
